Woodside Equine Clinic is expanding and seeking a dedicated Credential Veterinary Technician to support our equine surgical and medical services. This role offers a dynamic mix of clinic and ambulatory work, supporting procedures in-house and on farm calls, as well as providing care for hospitalized patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and surgeons during appointments, anesthesia, and procedures

• Support patient monitoring, treatment, and recovery

• Perform nursing care and diagnostic assistance for hospitalized cases

• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and interns to deliver exceptional patient care

• Provide excellent client care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or eligible for licensure in Virginia

• Previous equine veterinary experience is not required - we are willing to train!

• Comfort and experience around horses preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Organized, adaptable, and passionate about quality patient care
