Park Equine Hospital seeks motivated candidates to fill full-time Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) positions in our hospital and/or ambulatory setting. Qualifications & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) (Preferred but not required) • Excellent equine handling/restraining skills (5+ years plus experience preferred) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Able to lift at least 50lbs • Proficient in veterinary terminology and medical procedures • Team-oriented and willing to cross-train • Self-motivated and positive attitude • Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills • Detail-oriented, prompt, and reliable • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Brief Job Description
PEH Veterinary Assistants and Technicians provide exceptional patient care, assist our doctors during physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures, and administer medications and treatments. Additional responsibilities include patient intake/discharge, billing, patient handling/restraining, client education, basic lab work, accurate record keeping, and organizing/stocking medical supplies. The work schedule may include evenings and weekends. After-hours/emergency shifts are available voluntarily.
