Job Duties: Assisting with surgical procedures Administering and monitoring anesthesia and assisting during the recovery period Properly cleaning and providing as needed maintenance to equipment such as the autoclave, ventilator, endoscopes, surgical instruments, dental float, etc. Restraining patients for exams, treatments, and procedures Intravenous catheter placement Dosage calculation Detailed and accurate record keeping including patient treatment records, anesthesia records, and controlled substance logs
