Working/Functional Title Veterinary Technician / Nurse Anesthesia Position Summary Provides patient care for ill and injured animals in the Large Animal Anesthesia Department of the Veterinary Medical Center. The Large Animal Anesthesia Department work’s with a variety of large animal species including equine, porcine, caprine, ovine and more. This position will utilize LVTs or LVN’s for their technical abilities and knowledge acquired through school. Some job responsibilities include techniques related to performing anesthesia (IVC placement, Intubation, Monitoring, Medication Injection, and Recovery).
