Oregon State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is adding talented veterinary technicians to the Large Animal Emergency department. We are looking for self-motivated technicians with a passion for teaching. It is a fast paced, team-oriented hospital that focuses on an optimal level of patient care while providing supportive instruction to our students, and excellent customer service to our clients.

The hospital provides primary and referral health care for large animals and livestock in Oregon. You will be preforming duties specific to all technical service areas including internal medicine, surgical procedures, anesthesia, radiology, specialty medicine, theriogenology, and critical care. We are looking for those who have experience handling, restraining and working with (equine & livestock) patients of all types and temperaments to ensure safety and effectiveness. Technicians will assist clinicians, students, and residents with admission, patient restraint, and diagnostic procedures on a variety of large animal species.
